Car parking
We have a designated town centre car park near our main buildings where staff can pay to park at subsidised rates.
Pool cars
If you just need to pop out – use one of our pool cars. The council has a fleet of ultra-low emission electric vehicles available to staff.
Cycle to work scheme and pool bikes
But if you’d rather use two wheels – we offer a cycle to work scheme where you can buy a bike through salary sacrifice, saving yourself hundreds of pounds.
We also have free secure bike parking and shower facilities on site.
There are also pool electric bikes available to get you from a to b in the town during the day.
Season ticket loans
We offer all our staff an interest-free loan to buy an annual railway, London Underground or bus season ticket to cover travelling from home to work.
The scheme is available to all staff on a permanent contract and on those on a fixed term contract where there is at least 12 months left to go.
