Interpretation and translation

Help to access essential council services is available to those who do not speak English, and would struggle to get the right support without assistance. We have access to a wide range of non-English language interpretation, both face to face and written.

We can also provide qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to service users who are deaf and we actively use appropriate technology to further assist service users with a disability.

If a customer is struggling to access a council service, please get an English speaker to call the council to discuss their requirements.
