17-1595 Facilities Officer (as & when)

  • Salary: £12.67 - £13.67 per hour (Inclusive of all allowances and annual leave entitlement).

Opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic individuals with outstanding customer service and building management experience to work at Corporate and Community Buildings.

Working hours are as the need arises, the dates and times you are offered will be intermittent, will fluctuate and may be offered at short notice.

As the first point of contact for service users and members of the public, you’ll be responsible for health and safety, minor maintenance, security, cleaning, setting up rooms and responding to building user requirements.

You will need a flexible approach to working to cover other council building and access to your own transport to commute between sites around Slough as required.

The role will require regular planning and co-ordination of activities in a well-structured environment. You need to be able to manage own time effectively and identify priorities for self and others where there is supervisory responsibility. Good team player, able to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers internally and externally to provide high levels of customer service and support the effective delivery of service to the council.
