For Grove Academy
For children with no Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), please email transportplanning@slough.gov.uk to request an application pack.
For children who have an EHCP, please apply through the Citizens Portal, more details are on this page.
Our aim is to support children and young people to access education safely and promote independence wherever possible. We consider each application individually, taking into account the child's age, educational setting, special educational needs, disability, medical needs, and whether they can reasonably be expected to walk or travel independently.
Travel assistance is not automatically provided because a child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or attends a specialist school. Eligibility is assessed in line with the council's Home to School Travel Assistance Policy and statutory guidance.
