Home energy grants and information
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.
There is help available under the revised ECO scheme (ECO3) to support low-income households to install energy efficiency measures.
Slough Borough Council is working in partnership with Aran Services to provide FREE* and partially funded loft and/or cavity wall insulation.
Grant funding is calculated using Ofgem deemed savings scores. Grant funding will differ between property types, property size, fuel types and installation. Some heating fuel types are excluded from grant funding streams. Some heating grants may require insulation works to be completed to access grant funding.
Private Rented Sector homes are subject to variation in qualifying criteria. Your local authority may contact you to confirm the information you provide is correct and true to support ECO Flex applications.
The offer and any grant funding is subject to property assessment, and qualifying criteria. All offers are subject to standard terms and conditions found on the Aran Services website, or call 01284 812520.
Insulating your home’s roof space or walls are some of the easiest things you can do to improve your home and reduce your fuel bills, with many homes saving up to £360.
You can find more detailed information about the scheme on the Ofgem website.
