Preventative Services for Adults
The Adult Social Care Strategy 2024-29 has a clear focus on:
- delivering a strengths-based model of social work practice and
- supporting and encouraging residents to live independent lives.
This includes preventing or delaying the need for take up adult social care and working with statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that an appropriate network of wellbeing, care and support services are in place to enable this.
