Adults Mental Health Strategy Steering Group

The Adults Mental Health Strategy Steering Group is a group set up to improve mental health services in Slough by implementing the Adults Mental Health Commissioning Strategy 2024-2029. 

The group consists of:

• people with lived experience of mental health services in Slough
• professionals from health and social care
• voluntary sector organisations e.g. charitable organisations with an interest in mental health service.

Everyone comes together in equal partnership to:

• improve access to mental health services
• reduce inequalities for people with mental health needs and their carers
• promote mental health recovery and independence
• prevent or delay the need for specialist support
• improve collaboration between organisations to better meet the needs of local residents.
