Slough Ice Arena

The original Ice Arena was built in the 1980s but it had reached the end of its functional life and ceased being a pleasant environment for skaters or spectators.

Now, it is being stripped back to the original steel and completely rebuilt and extended ā€“ bringing a brand new, extended ice facility as well as a new climbing centre.

When complete, it will include:

  • a new ice rink
  • new fully-glazed barriers
  • new changing rooms and toilets
  • new spectator seating and lighting
  • café
  • climbing wall and clip ā€˜nā€™ climb feature
  • gym
  • extensive landscaping to the Bath Road

The Ice Arena will open to the public at the end of April following its multi-million pound rebuild.
