Processing delays
We are currently experiencing delays due to a high volume of cases and an existing backlog. Our team is working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Responses may take longer than our usual 10-day timeframe.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
New text and email messaging service
We are using a new messaging service to contact our customers. This is for yearly reviews on discount and exemptions, bounced directed debits, or to tell you that a payment is due or overdue. If you receive a text message, it will include a unique web address which will ask you to verify yourself by putting in your postcode. The web address will start with https://smsctax.slough.gov.uk/t/ followed by a series of letters and numbers.
