Bin collections

Information on bin collection dates throughout the year, including bank holidays.

When are the bins collected

Grey refuse bins, red recycling bins and green garden waste bins are collected every two weeks (fortnightly).

Grey, red and green bins are not collected within the same week. To find out which bin week it is for you, enter your road name in the Find your bin day directory below and check the results.

Please note, green garden waste collections are for those who have subscribed to the garden waste collection service.

How to use the "find my bin day" directory

• Enter the keyword for your road name for example; “Bath” for Bath Road. 
• Do not include your house number or house name when searching.
• Make sure there is no space after you have written your road name.

You can check your bin collection day on the Waste and Recycling Portal. We advise you to check our Video guide to find your bin dates online.

These dates are for:

• all wheelie bin collections and
• food waste collections.
