180 litre grey bins for general waste
- The standard bin issued to residents for general waste are 180 litre grey bins.
- The cost of a new 180 litre grey bin is £41.
240 litre grey bins for general waste
- If you are a living with a family of six or more people at the same property, you can request a larger 240 litre bin.
- When you submit a form request for a 240 litre grey bin, you will need to upload proof of the number of occupants living at the address such as; recent bank statements, bills, child benefit letters for each individual.
- The cost of a 240 litre grey bin is £49.
Red bins for recycling waste
- The standard bin issued to residents for recycling are 240 litre red bins.
- We will collect up to two red bins from one property on your recycling collection day.
- The cost of a 240 litre red bin is £49.
Green bins for garden waste
- Green garden waste bins are available by subscription only.
- The size of a green garden waste bin is 240 litres.
- The cost of a green garden waste bin subscription is £55 a year.
- You can subscribe for green garden waste collection service.
Communal bins
- For domestic properties with communal bins, the Housing association, managing agent or landlord needs to email EnvServEnquiries@slough.gov.uk. Please note there is a cost to replace the four wheeled refuse or recycling communal bins:
- £405 each for an 1100 litre or
- £365 each for a 770 litre.

Order a new or replacement bin form downtime on 19 May
We will be carrying out some maintenance work on Monday 19 May from 9am and expect the form to be offline for up to 3 hours.

To request a new or replacement bin, you must have a Slough MyAccount. Once you sign into your MyAccount or register for a MyAccount (opens in new window), you can then submit the ‘Order a new or replacement bin’ form.
