Information you need to provide when booking
When you book your ceremony, include:
-
your full name

your phone number.
We will then contact you to arrange a time and take payment, if you choose to have a private ceremony.
During the ceremony
You will have to make an oath of allegiance (or an affirmation if you prefer not to swear by God) and a pledge. This means you promise to respect the rights, freedoms and laws of the UK.
At the end of the ceremony you’ll be presented with your certificate of British citizenship and a welcome pack.
After your ceremony
As a British citizen you can now vote in elections. You can register to vote.
You can also apply for a British passport online or using a paper form.
