Free support to build and grow your start-up
If you have the drive and ambition to set up your own business, but you’re not sure what to do next, we can help take you from entrepreneur to ‘enterprise ready’. Register your interest for one of our free 5-week Start-up programmes. There are only 20 places.
The programme is funded by Slough Borough Council and delivered by the Berkshire Growth Hub.

Structure of the programme
The programme is a mix of workshops and coaching sessions to give you the skills and knowledge you need to build your business successfully. The half-day workshops will include:
- establishing a business model
- finding finance
- developing sales and marketing plans
- producing forecasts
- launching a sustainable business.
After each workshop you will be able to network and learn from others on the programme.
Eligibility
The Start-up programme is for Berkshire-based start-ups with a:
- firm idea for a business in the very early stages of trading or plan to start trading very soon
- turnover (if any) of less than £10,000.
