Where and when can you join?
Current Young Carers Activities in Slough
We currently run weekly sessions for young carers in Slough, with groups for different age ranges.
Children aged 5–10
A new Young Carers programme for children aged 5 to 10 runs on:
- Thursdays at 4:30pm–6:00pm
Sessions are mainly online, with some in-person sessions taking place during school half-term periods.
Young people aged 11–18
(up to 25 for those with SEND)
Support for older young carers, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), takes place on:
- Wednesdays at 5:30pm–7:00pm
Sessions for this group are a mix of online and in-person delivery.
All sessions focus on fun, connection and wellbeing, giving young carers the opportunity to relax, be themselves and enjoy time away from their caring responsibilities.
