Slough's CCTV control centre
Slough's CCTV control centre has a state of the art digital video monitoring and recording system. We can produce high quality video evidence for the identification of suspects and the prosecution of offenders. We can also monitor remote alarm systems, out of hours key holding, lone worker and emergency contact services.
CCTV systems are installed in areas of the borough where there are crime and disorder and community safety priorities. Working closely with Thames Valley Police and other partners, the CCTV team operates 24/7, 365 days a year. We deliver a full range of community focused services.
This includes operating more than 400 fixed site cameras and multiple wireless CCTV camera systems which can be relocated in response to changing priorities. The CCTV operators also manage the Slough Town Against Crime (STAC) retail and Pub Watch radio systems.
Slough's CCTV Control Centre is fully compliant with all relevant legislation and Codes of Practice and is BS 7958 and SCC Code of Practice compliant. All staff are fully trained and qualified Control Room Operators. The CCTV teams also have Enhanced Children and Adults DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearances and are police vetted for access to police radios.
You can contact the CCTV service on 01753 875895.
