This is a national requirement. The majority of applications require a fee, however, there are some circumstances where exemptions and concessions apply as set out in the fee regulations. A list of the current fees are provided by the Planning Portal.
If submitting online via the Planning Portal, payment must be made to them directly (An additional service charge will apply to all planning applications submitted. This is payable at the time of submission. Payments for online applications made via the Planning Portal should not be made directly to the Council).
For applications submitted to Slough Borough Council directly, payment can be made through our online payments system.
