The Statement of Community Engagement will need to demonstrate how the applicant has complied with Slough’s Statement of Community Involvement and show how the views of the local community have been sought and taken into account in the development proposals.

Where a proposal may impact a neighbouring planning authority area, this statement should also include any additional engagement with the residents of that local community.
