Childcare Support for two-year-olds

Families are eligible for 15 hours funded early education where
- both parents or carers (or the sole parent, in a one parent family) are in work and
- earning the equivalent of 16 hours per week at the National Minimum Wage and no more than £100,000 per year.
If a parent is self employed, or on a zero hour contract they will be asked to confirm that they will meet the income threshold outlined above
It usually takes 20 minutes to apply. You may find out if you’re eligible straight away, but it can take up to 7 days.
