Neighbourhood Resilience Event run by Project Sponge

Residents around Godolphin Playing Fields are invited to an open forum on Tuesday 9th December run by the Project Sponge team - to discuss the future of this much loved green space.

Over the next few years, Project Sponge (a partnership between Slough Borough Council, London Wetland Centre, and The National Flood Forum) will improve the stream and green space to support wildlife, reduce flood risk, and make the park even better for everyone.

But while the team of environmental scientists and experts can support with building flood resilience, they are calling for the local community to come together and help shape the future of this much loved green space.

Join the project team to share your experiences, memories and your everyday use of the park, and talk through the next steps together.
