Councillor Puja Bedi, lead member for children & lifelong learning said: “On behalf of the whole council congratulations to all of our young people who have received their A-level results today.
“There will have been years of hard work and dedication leading up to this point, where their paths will change and our students will move on to further education, apprenticeships, or the start of their careers. We wish our young people every success and good luck for the future.
“We are very lucky in Slough to have extremely supportive school and support staff across the borough whose dedication to their students shines through. They help our young people achieve and thrive with encouragement, guidance, and support. Thank you to all of the dedicated and caring professionals working in Slough’s schools.
“This year’s results show continued progress, with Slough’s average point score rising from 33.42 in 2024 to 34.10 in 2025. While the average grade remains a C+, we are now just 0.9 points away from achieving a B-."
