Slough Borough Council may remove vehicles from the public highway if they have three or more unpaid Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) related to parking or bus lane contraventions, and:
- The PCNs have not been paid, challenged, or appealed within the required timeframes, or
- Any representations or appeals have been rejected and the PCNs remain unpaid.
Under its Vehicle Removal Policy, Slough Borough Council has the legal authority to remove vehicles from public highways in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and Department for Transport (DFT) guidance.
