Brownfield register

Councils are required to maintain a public register of previously developed land or ‘brownfield sites’ that the Council considers appropriate for residential development.

The register has two parts. The first part includes all sites that meet the criteria to be considered appropriate for residential development. You can view this list below.

The second part of the register includes only sites that have been granted ‘Permission in Principle’ for housing-led development. This section of the register is optional, and as such, Slough Borough Council has not currently created this list.

For more information about the Brownfield Register, please see:

If you have any queries or would like to submit a site to be included in the Brownfield Register, please email PlanningPolicy@slough.gov.uk.

Key Documents

Please note where no figure is in the "MinimumNetDwellings" column please check the Council’s Local Development Frame work annual reports for the trajectory of housing sites. The trajectory list has a broad estimate of site capacity but as the figure has not been tested it is not repeated in the brownfield register as a minimum capacity figure.
