Details of the inquiry

The Secretary of State has appointed Inspector D Michael Howard Rose BA (Hons) MRTPI to hold a Public Inquiry into this appeal.

  • Start date: Tuesday, 14 October 2025
  • Time: 10am
  • Duration: Scheduled for 8 sitting days
  • Venue: The Council Chamber’s, Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough, SL1 2EL.

As the appeal involves proposals for developments of major importance having more than local significance, and proposals for significant development in the Green Belt the application has been ‘called in’ by the Secretary of State.

The Secretary of State will determine this appeal instead of an Inspector. This means that the appeal will be undertaken in accordance with the standard public inquiry procedure but instead of writing a decision, the Inspector will prepare a report and recommendation, which will be forwarded to the Secretary of State.

You can check the recovery letter advising of this decision.

For more information on applications which are “called in” by the Secretary of State, please go to the Called-in planning applications page on the GOV.UK site.
