How to make an in year school (change schools during the year) application

Our in-year co-ordination scheme

Some schools do not participate with our in-year co-ordination scheme and deal with their own in year applications - you will need to apply directly to the school for this. You can apply through us for schools that do participate with this scheme.

1. List 1 names the primary schools that participate in the local authority co-ordination scheme.
2. List 2 names the primary schools that do not participate in the co-ordination scheme and manage it themselves.

This is for the period from 1 September 2025 - 31 July 2026.

List 1: Schools participating in Slough Council’s in-year co-ordination scheme

For these schools you can apply through Slough Borough Council's Citizen Portal. Please be aware if you use the Citizen Portal to list a non-participating school as a preference, Slough School Admissions team will not be able to process that preference request.
