Social care personal assistant jobs

Do you want to develop your skills and experience in social care? Would you like a flexible job role?

Why not consider being part of a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity by becoming a Personal Assistant (PA) to a direct payment (DP) recipient?

We have a range of PA vacancies working with adults within their own homes in Slough providing support with tasks such as personal care and social activities. Roles and hours will vary dependant on the needs of the person and their care & support plan.

Slough Adult Social Care Services want to help people live independently with more choice and control over the care and support they need. Direct payments is one way individuals can take charge of how they get the help they need. They are able to use the payment to employ their own PA directly instead of the council arranging this for them.

Prior to any employment being confirmed, you will be required to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) form. Once completed this form will be sent to the DBS. The DBS searches police records and, in relevant cases, barred list information, and then issues a DBS certificate to you. You will need to produce a copy of this certificate to the DP recipient to help them make an informed recruitment decision.

Please note these vacancies are not employed through Slough Borough Council but through the individual DP recipient.
