Flooding and flood risk

How to report flooding in Slough

If flooding occurs, public services in Slough will do their best to help residents. However, property owners are responsible for taking steps to protect their own property and for dealing with flooding inside their homes.

Please use the information below to report flooding to the correct service.

Flooding that causes a danger to life

If flooding is putting people at risk of injury or death, contact the emergency services immediately.

Fire and Rescue Service

  • Call 999 in an emergency
  • The Fire and Rescue Service’s main role is saving lives. They may also be able to help with pumping out floodwater where resources allow.

Flooding on a public road or footpath

If flooding is affecting a public road or footpath and appears to be caused by a blocked drain or road gully, please report it to Slough Highways by completing the Contact Highways online form.

Flooding from a main river or reservoir
