Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is what we use to assess the current and future healthcare and wellbeing needs of our residents. These needs could be met by local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICB's), the NHS and other partners.

The Slough Joint Wellbeing Board has a duty to improve the health and wellbeing for those who live in Slough. The Slough Joint Wellbeing Strategy, developed by the Slough Wellbeing Board is based on the needs identified by the JSNA.

For more details about the JSNA please email: publichealthslough@slough.gov.uk

The new Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) for East Berkshire website explains how deprivation, crime and environment affect:

  • our health behaviours and
  • how long we can expect to live.

It has information and resources to help:

  • you understand your community’s health
  • professionals check out the health, care and wellbeing needs to make decisions.
