How to prepare a school travel plan

It is really important that within each school a travel plan coordinator or nominated staff member(s) is appointed to be responsible for the development and also the day-to-day management of the Modeshift STARS web tool to update/add to their school travel plan. This does not need to be a teacher – it could be a governor or parent who is actively involved with the school. The role of this person is to undertake travel surveys, implement the travel measures and initiatives and review the school travel plan. Slough Borough Council is happy to assist any travel plan coordinators/nominated staff member and provide them with the necessary guidance to implement a successful school travel plan.
