Slough Cemetery was opened in 1932 and is laid out so visitors can drive to graves. Cremated remains graves and full lawn graves offer families a choice of resting place.

Slough Crematorium opened in 1963 and is situated within the grounds of Slough Cemetery.

Detailed map of the grounds. This can be used to locate grave sections if you are visiting when the office is closed. If you need help identifying a grave number, please phone the office on 01753 523127 / 520702.

The grounds are open 365 days per year to enable visitors to access the cemetery and crematorium, including the Remembrance Room to read an entry in the Book of Remembrance.

There is a large car park with disabled bays. Toilets are accessible from the waiting room, including a disabled toilet. Ramping into all areas ensures full accessibility for disabled visitors.

Floral tributes or cut flowers may be placed in our conservatory leading to the Remembrance Room, in vases provided.

Burial Service

We provide a seven days a week burial service to meet the needs of our diverse community.

Cremation Service

The chapel is multi-denominational and therefore any recognised form of service, religious or civil can be held. You will normally need to arrange for an officiant, a humanist or a member of the family to officiate at the service. Your funeral director can assist you with this.
(A funeral service is not obligatory and a cremation can be arranged without one if required.)

An experienced organist is in attendance at all services to play the organ and CDs or tapes if required. We have a large selection of music, so please phone the office to discuss your music requirements or ask your funeral director to do it for you. If you wish to have your own CDs/ tapes played, please ensure these are made available to the Cremation staff in advance.
