Business Improvement Districts (BIDs)

Pay your BID levy

BID Levy

The BID levy is a small percentage of a businesses’ rateable value. The levy is collected on top of the existing Business Rates bill. BIDs can choose to exempt certain businesses from paying the levy, however these businesses can't then vote in the BID ballot.

Many BIDs including Slough Town Centre BID exempt the smallest businesses.

If a BID ballot is successful all eligible businesses in the BID area are required to pay the BID levy.
