Prices changing from 1 April
Please be aware that from 1 April prices have changed at the Commercial waste transfer station.
Commercial or trade waste operators are not be able to access the Household waste recycling centre (HWRC). Please visit the weighbridge during opening times.
Opening hours for commercial access
Last entry 15 minutes prior to closing.
- Monday to Friday: 7am - 4pm
- Saturday: 7.30am - 12pm
- Closed on Sunday and bank holidays.
Traders will need to show copies of their ‘Waste Carriers Licence’ at time of tipping. Businesses have a legal duty of care to dispose of their waste properly and must pay commercial rates. It is illegal to deposit trade waste at the HWRC.
We accept both general waste and garden waste for composting.
- General waste is calculated at £246 per tonne including VAT, with a minimum charge of £44.28 including VAT.
- Compostable garden waste is calculated at £115.20 per tonne including VAT, with a minimum charge of £20.74 including VAT.
