Slough Borough Council leasehold buildings insurance policy cover has changed

From 1 April 2023, the leasehold buildings insurance policy provider has changed to Protector Insurance.

If you need assistance with making a new claim that occurred after on or after 1 April 2023, please contact our neighbourhood recharges team at neighbourhoodrecharges@slough.gov.uk They will respond to you with details on how to make your claim.

All existing claims made on or before 31 March 2023 should be directed to Avid Insurance Limited.

Ground rent is an annual charge, fixed in your lease for use of the land your building is on.

As a leaseholder, you will be charged for the services we provide to you, as well as the ground rent.

You will receive the bill for your ground rent in April each year along with your estimated service charges. This is set at the figure indicated in your lease.
