Our volunteering roles are currently full, so we are not accepting new applications at this time. Recruitment will be paused until the end of January 2026. No new applications will be considered during this time.
What this role involves
- Assist staff in delivering events and activities for customers.
- Help staff support customers using the computing and self service facilities in the library.
- Actively promoting the services, adult learning activities and stock within Slough Libraries.
- Assisting staff with the shelving and organising of stock.
- Ensuring that visitors are directed to the most appropriate area/ person to answer their query.
