Timetable for the new Local Plan
Statement of Effect
This timetable for the Local Plan is brought into effect in accordance with Section 15B of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).
The timetable sets out the key stages and timescales for the preparation of the Slough Local Plan and has effect from 30 June 2026.

Additional consultations
The council does not intend to undertake any consultations in connection with the preparation of the Local Plan other than those required under Regulations 20, 23 and 27 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026.
Supplementary plans
The council does not propose to prepare any supplementary plans alongside the Local Plan.
Keeping the timetable up to date
The council will keep the Local Plan timetable under review and update it as necessary to reflect any changes.
The timetable will be updated at least monthly where there are changes to the dates, and at key stages in the plan-making process in accordance with relevant regulations and guidance.
Availability of the Local Plan timetable
The Local Plan timetable is available to view on the Council’s website. It is also available for public inspection at Slough Borough Council, Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough, SL1 2EL during normal opening hours.
Copies of the timetable can be provided on request.
