Article 4 direction - caravans and mobile homes
In many areas of the country, you can station a caravan or moveable structure on a piece of land without planning permission, so long as the activity it is being used for is not taking place for more than 28 days in any one calendar year.
However, in the Borough of Slough, an Article 4 direction is in place regarding these structures:
The Article 4 direction states that planning permission might be needed from the council to station a caravan or moveable structure. This direction covers the whole borough.
