Year 7 secondary school applications – deadline passed.
The deadline to apply for a Year 7 secondary school place for September 2026 was 31 October 2025 and has now passed.
Important: Slough residents only
If your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 and you missed this deadline, you can still apply using the late application form for secondary school admissions – September 2026 intake.
Please note: late applications submitted after 31 October 2025 will only be considered from 2 March 2026 at the earliest, once all on-time applications have been processed and offers have been made to them.
By law, all children aged between 5 to 16 must receive an education. If your child is not in school, you must either apply for a school place or tell the local authority what alternative arrangements you are making for their education.
You need to apply for a school place online. Please refer to the table below to check which form you should use.
