How to sign up to the Safe Places scheme

Vulnerable residents can get a Safe Place Scheme card to carry with them, with emergency contact details.

How residents can sign up

Vulnerable residents can get a card to carry with them, which they can put some emergency contact details on to. 

What to do:

• Carry emergency contact details on you at all times 
• Know which businesses are part of the scheme by looking out for the sticker 
• Always try to explain what help you need if you do have to use the scheme in an emergency.

How local businesses can get involved

By signing up to the scheme, businesses will be providing reassurance to vulnerable residents and their carers, enabling people to live more independent lives, with an increased sense of security in their community.
