If you are a resident of Slough Borough Council and you have a child whose date of birth is on or between 1 September 2011 - 31 August 2012, then you will be required to apply for a primary school place for the 2016 academic year. This application needs to be made by 15 January 2016. You must only apply through Slough Borough Council if you are a Slough Borough Council resident.
If you are not a resident of Slough Borough Council you will need to apply through your Home Authority. You will still be able to apply for Slough Borough Council schools through your home Authority.
From 1st September 2015 you can now also apply for an infant to junior school place online.
If your child is 11 between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016, they will start secondary education in September 2016. You must apply for entry to a Secondary school through your home authority. Slough Borough Council residents can apply for non-Slough schools on our application form. The Secondary Admissions Guide, along with the relevant application form, is automatically issued to Slough residents whose children attend Slough Borough Council schools and are due to transfer at the end of the academic year.
You can make an application from 1st September 2015 until the closing date of 31st October 2015.
