If you are a resident of Slough Borough Council and you have a child whose date of birth is on or between 1 September 2009 - 31 August 2010, then you will be required to apply for a primary school place for the 2014-2015 academic year. This application needs to be made by 15 January 2014. You must only apply through Slough Borough Council if you are a Slough Borough Council resident.
If you are not a resident of Slough Borough Council you will need to apply through your Home Authority. You will still be able to apply for Slough Borough Council schools through your home Authority.
If your child is 11 between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, they will start secondary education in September 2014. You must apply for entry to a Secondary school through your home authority. Slough Borough Council residents can apply for non-Slough schools on our application form. The Secondary Admissions Guide, along with the relevant application form, is automatically issued to Slough residents whose children attend Slough Borough Council schools and are due to transfer at the end of the academic year.
If you wish to apply for a place at the SASH School or Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (LHEA) for September 2014, please complete the right application form for it (there isn't an online SASH school or LHEA application form):
Please return the completed form for either of the above schools to the Admissions and Access Team, Slough Borough Council, St Martins Place, 51 Bath Road, Slough, SL1 3UF by the 31 October 2013.
Parents applying for the SASH School or LHEA must also complete a Common Application Form (CAF), naming their 6 preferred secondary schools. The SASH and the LHEA application process is separate from the CAF one, so SASH or LHEA will not come up as an option on the online CAF form. If you are using a paper CAF form then please do not list the SASH or LHEA schools.
We will process SASH, LHEA and CAF applications. On 1 March, we will advise parents on the outcome of both applications. Some parents may have more than one offer of a place and will be advised on how to accept and decline place offers.
