Landlord Statutory Compliance

A Compliance Strategy has been developed, which includes a suite of compliance polices which will be maintained and regularly reviewed to ensure that the council meets its legal duty to ensure the safety of Slough residents in the council’s housing stock. The council has a legal duty to ensure all council homes meet regulatory standards for:

  • annual landlord gas servicing
  • fire risk assessments and fire alarm testing and maintenance
  • asbestos management
  • electrical testing
  • water management
  • lift maintenance / servicing.
