How to submit local authority searches
Local land charges register
This is a public register which is available free of charge using personal search. To book a personal search appointment, please contact the land charges team.
For an official local authority search the following is required:
- 1 copy of the plan clearly outlining the area to be searched in red. The plan should show the surrounding roads and properties
- Form LLC1
- Form CON29
- The correct fee
Local Authority Searches can take up to 10 working days to be completed.
Please note that all local authority searches should be submitted electronically.
