Slough Borough Council is encouraging residents, workplaces, schools, and community groups to get involved in Cycle September, a free, month-long celebration of biking that began on Monday (1 Sept).
Bus passengers in Slough and Buckinghamshire will benefit from enhanced services thanks to Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) funding from Slough Borough Council and Buckinghamshire Council, delivered in partnership with First Bus in Berkshire.
The Community Payback team (run by HM Prison & Probation Service) completes work for SBC at five allotment sites and some of the parks around the borough.
Two new cameras have been installed in flytipping hotspots in a bid to catch those committing the offence red-handed.
