What if my home isn't suitable for my needs?
If you can't use essential facilities in your home (like your bathroom) you may be able to:
- Get adaptations, equipment and alarms to help you manage at home
- Apply for a Disabled Facilities Grant to help pay for adaptations if you have a substantial disability
- Move to more suitable accommodation such as extra care housing or a residential or nursing home.
